My goal is to build more than another sports news website. Varsity NC is being designed as a place to organize, connect, and preserve the stories of North Carolina high school sports — from what is happening this week to the people and moments that shaped its history.
It is not meant to replace or replicate the work that is already being done by many local media outlets across the state. In fact, I want Varsity NC to help elevate their work. That’s why we’re partnering with media outlets to make it easier for you to find their coverage on your dashboard, and easier for them to showcase scores for their teams on their websites.
There are free and paid options — $5/month or $40/year. If you purchase a paid subscription, we’ll share $1/month or $5/year with your favorite school to help support high school athletics where it matters most to you.
